About Fam Training Center
Since opening in 2005, FAM Training Center was created to give people a place to grow stronger, together. Founded by our head coach to bring discipline, confidence, and community through martial arts, we welcome both beginners and experienced fighters. Training here is hands-on, personal, and focused on helping each person reach their goals while building lasting relationships.

DAYTHON GALICINAO
FOUNDER & COACH
Founder of FAM Training Center, Daython Galicinao has trained countless professional and amateur MMA fighters and kickboxers throughout Hawaii. Since opening the gym in 2005, he has built a strong martial arts community focused on discipline, growth, and real training. Daython also runs FAM Hawaii, a respected local clothing brand.
SPENCER "MASARU" HIGA
PROFESSIONAL MMA FIGHTER & COACH
Spencer "Masaru" Higa is a professional MMA fighter with experience competing in Bellator. With 7 professional wins - including 3 by knockout and 1 by submission - Spencer brings high-level fight experience and technical coaching to FAM Training Center. His last professional fight took place in 2022.
JOSIAH "TOO SMOOTH" PIRES
AMATEUR MMA FIGHTER & COACH
Josiah "Too Smooth" Pires is an amateur MMA fighter with 3 wins, including 1 by submission. Known for his smooth style and strong work ethic, Josiah helps create a motivating and supportive environment for students looking to improve their skills and confidence.
